TYPE1.0 is not positioned as a vegan brand, and we do not seek to categorise ourselves as such. However, we firmly believe in aligning with positive change by minimising any adverse impacts we may have. Our commitment lies in staying on the side of responsible choices and sustainable practices wherever we can.

Cruelty-Free:

  • PU leather is made without using any animal products or by-products, offering a cruelty-free alternative to traditional leather.

Environmental Impact:

  • PU leather production is generally more environmentally friendly than traditional leather, using fewer resources and reducing the overall carbon footprint associated with raising animals for leather.

Consistency:

  • Manufactured to ensure consistent quality and appearance, PU leather avoids the natural variations in texture and color seen in traditional leather, resulting in a uniform aesthetic.

Water Resistance:

  • PU leather is more resistant to water than animal leather, making it a practical choice in situations where exposure to moisture is a concern due to its reduced susceptibility to damage or discoloration.

  • Easier to clean and maintain than natural leather, PU leather typically requires a simple wipe with a damp cloth, eliminating the need for special care products often associated with genuine leather.

RETURNS

We have a 15 day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not Australia, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 3 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 3 days for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
